With over 15 years in the protective clothing industry working for and with end-users, distributors and manufacturers such as DuPont and Kappler, PCS has acquired a vast knowledge of workplace hazards and the protective clothing requirements associated with them. Hazards such as particulate, chemical, nuclear, flash fire and electrical arc are all part of day-to-day applications that PCS is exposed to and have led us to be experts in the field. We are here to provide you with our expertise and technical knowledge to any questions or issues that arise during your daily activities.

 

Dan Guitar

Dan has over 18+ years in the personal protective equipment industry. Starting off working at a major distributor, he gained knowledge on various safety topics such as confined space, tag-out/lock-out, respiratory and general protective clothing needs. In 1998, he joined Kappler USA and began to specialize in protective clothing specifically. In 2001, Dan transitioned to DuPont when Kappler’s Industrial Division was purchased by DuPont on a 5 year agreement. Specific hazards dealt with at DuPont included particulate, chemical, cut-resistance, flash-fire, electrical arc as well as high-viz. After his departure from DuPont in 2010, he formed Protective Clothing Solutions (PCS) to leverage his knowledge of the aforementioned hazards and apply his expertise to solve the issues people on the job face on a daily basis.

 

Kyle Guitar

Kyle is working towards the completion of a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Marketing Management at the University of Guelph AS WELL AS A BUSINESS DIPLOMA FROM CONESTOGA COLLEGE. Although he still learning the “ins and outs” of the Protective Clothing industry, he brings with him 4 years of retail and 3 years of customer service experience.

 

JAVIER ZUNIGA

Javier has Canadian and international studies in clothing technology and a professional background in textile research and development. He has experience leading and supporting sales efforts in the protective textile industry. Javier brings with him a balance of technical knowledge and sales experience that allows him to understand consumer needs and deliver value.
